Friday’s Vital Visual comes from professor Dave Grant of The Ocean Institute At Sandy Hook(NJ). Dave has the wonderful task of researching all things (or close to all things) connected to coast and sea.

This photo was taken on his latest adventure and qualifies as the humdinger hummer. I’ve set it as my desktop background and grin at it every morning as I begin my day. Isn’t nature amazing?
