My computer is running slowly at the moment and was stopping and starting, but it sounded to me like there were children in the background, which made me laugh and smile and wonder if the bird was thinking/singing about how lovely that sound is! Interesting – American sparrows are quite different to Europeans. their song too.
I’ll have to search it out on you-tube, see what you mean. I love birds!!!
I read your haiku – then watched/listened the video – and revisited the words with a new enthusiasm. The video really grounded the poem wonderfully. I even heard the freedom in the second read.
I’ve actually played this a lot. But the birds are beginning to do their thing for real here! I love it…
